While Tony & Claire were with us we had a day trip to Porto. Unlike Lisbon, where you need a few days to see all the sights, Porto is quite a compact city and we managed to see all the important sights and have a lovely meal in one of the riverside restaurants where Tony had his steak cooked at the table and I had the best squid I've ever tasted - scrummy!
Ever since we starting planning our adventure Julie has been looking forward to going to the Port caves, particularly the Sandeman one as that is her favourite tipple, so the first picture is Julie looking very happy after enjoying a guided tour and a tasting (of course!).
